About Jenise Greene

Jenise Greene serves as an Elementary School Counselor at Cogburn Woods Elementary School in Fulton County. She has served in several capacities since the beginning of her career. She has been in the field of education for 19 years. She attended Morris Brown College and received a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2002. After 13 years in the classroom her time as a teacher began to shift as she began working with families of students realizing they needed more than instruction and homework. She returned to school at Argosy University and pursued a master’s degree in Professional Counseling in 2010 and then in 2012 at University of West Georgia receiving her certification as a school counselor.

For more than 7 years she has been a school counselor in Fulton County Schools. Jenise is the founder of Girls with Pearls organization. Mission is to teach, encourage, and equip young girls to become empowering young women by living out the Pearls values: Perseverance, Encouragement, Awareness, Respect, Leadership, Scholarship. Currently, she is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia, Certified Anger Management Specialist and Play Therapist and wants to one day open her own private counseling practice focusing on helping families and children. She is the founder of Aspiring Mindz LLC. She is a wife and mother of 4 boys

Jenise believes in working in partnership with clients to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.
