Eric has lived in the Atlanta area since 1977. He graduated from Oglethorpe University in 1982 with a degree in social work and has served a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) since in 2009. Eric was diagnosed with mental illness in high school. In 2012, he became a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner. After taking Connections Support Group training in 2008, he began leading the Connections group at Shallowford Presbyterian Church. Eric brings balance to the board from the facilitator and lived experience perspective.
