David Kendrick, Jr.

Vice President

David Kendrick Jr. is a Purple Heart veteran originally from Rochester, New York. He served as a Cavalry Scout in the United States Army from 2005 – 2010. In 2007 he was shot in both legs during a sniper ambush which left him permanently disabled.

David has an MBA with a concentration in project management from Keller Graduate School. He used his education to start his speaking business, Lion Speaking Agency LLC. He speaks professionally about mental health in both the veteran and civilian communities. He is also on the speaker’s bureau for SourceAmerica, a nonprofit organization that advocates for individuals with disabilities.

Serving as the Vice President of Nami DeKalb, David is highly engaged with the mental health community in DeKalb County, Ga. To further his knowledge of mental health he became certified in Mental Health First Aid. He helps put on several mental health events to bring awareness to the community and to help those in need find low-cost mental health resources.
